Behind the scenes:
Jude Antony did exceptionally well in keeping the story simple and realistic.
Cinematography by Vinod Illamapally did many new experiments and is a visual treat with some awesome techniques never tried in malayalam movies.
Editing by Lijo Paul need to be specially mentioned, as it was blended nice with each moments.
Music is done by Shaan Rahman. From his entry to industry he has gifted beautiful songs one after the other and he continue to do so. Some lovely tracks worth listening.

About the Cast:
Nazriya Nazim as Pooja Mathew, the centre role did her best performance till date. All her love for Giri, tension, thoughts, emotions were spot on.
Nivin Pauly as Giri was perfect for the role. A mature macho delivering splendid performance.
Ranji Panicker as Dr.Mathew was not the best for the role. But the love of people towards him as  a director will keep his faults aside.
Aju Varghese as David was brilliant. For the first time he was not a sidekick for the hero but against it, did justice to his role.
Vinay Prasad as Rachel, did justice to her character.
Vinneth Sreenivasan as Dr.Prasad was brilliant and "the cunning boy" was spot on.
Lal Jose as Jacob Tharakan was another role which has brought out the good actor inside an awesome director.
All the other casts did well and no one made a dull performance.

Should You Watch:
A love story from a girls perspective, has been shown the best way. Now filthy dialogues, no double meaning lines, another movie that could be easily seen with family(Love stories now a days are hard to watch with). Colourful movie, awesome songs, brilliant acting, there are lot of things worth watching. Some lags here and there but never made ME boring to watch. Kudos to whole crew.
Cant get out the song "Kaatu Moolio Pranayam..." out of my head. I've been rhyming since i left outside theatre, and so was my friends. As always final decision is yours...!!! :D

My Rating: 4.5/5

Unlike his father Rameshan now has a dream to make his son a cricket player, and he takes his son to different places and finds out what the cricket was outside his village.

Behind the Scenes:
Abrid Shine with his directional debut sure made a true movie about cricket and showed justice with his script not adding much of any masala.
Cinematography by Pradeesh Varma kept it simple, some beautiful shots of village without much of gimmicks, cricket matches are taken brilliantly.
Editing by Manoj needs a special mention because it gave many nostalgic moments.
Music by Gopi Sundar is classic, especially "Olanjali Kuruvi" will rhyme in your mind for coming days. He sure is the best in business.

About the Cast:
Nivin Pauly as Rameshan was perfect for the role. His looks didn't make it easy to act as aged person, but character was perfect throughout.
Nikki Galrani as Manjula steals your heart with her looks, a special mention to the pretty princess who played her childhood who just has cute smile was lovable to watch.
Srindha Ashab as Susheela the only housewife who don't know Sachin did brilliant with her facial expressions.
jacob Greogory as Mumbai Sachin needs special mention, with all funny oneliners.

Joe Mathew as Gopi Ashan was perfect for his role.
Saiju Kurup as Pappan,  Sanju as Babukuttan, Dinesh as Shaji, Neeraj Madhav as Prahladan, Prajod as Mantle Johny and all did justice with their roles.

Should You Watch:
In India cricket is a relegion and Sachin as the GOD, the movie "1983" is perfect for any cricket lover to watch and the best dedication for Sachin, we will surely miss him watching the movie. For others, yes this is a simple and elegant movie, best to see with your family. Without any villain the movie is a mind relaxation with beautiful songs and visualisation that gives us nostalgia.
Kudos to the whole crew, and as usual the final decision is yours...!!! :D

Movie Review: Salala Mobiles

Salala Mobiles:

Salala Mobiles is a comedy thriller genre by Sharath A Haridasan.

About the movie:
The movie narrates story of a lazy teenager Afsal(Dulquar) who is not interested in going for a job. His mother Safiyumma(Geetha) is much worried about this and seeks her brother to help him out, who works in salala. With his help Afsal starts a mobile shop with name "Salala Mobiles" which was the only favour asked by his uncle. He has a friend to accompany him with his new business, his childhood friend Binoy(Jacob Gregory). Now working in the shop, one day he meet a pretty girl Shahana who gets into bus from nearby bus stop. He straight away falls in love with her, but never has the courage to show his love. Meantime he goes to coimbatore to meet his friend Hari(Sreekumar) who offered him to give accessories at much cheaper rate, who later takes Afsal to his friend an inventor of mobile apps, Alagar Saamy(Santhanam). Alagar shows him some applications, which are not too viable. But yet he gets an app which Alagar presents him for free, which changed his life from there.

Behind the Movie:
Sharath A Haridasan has some directional skills. but the movie has some serious lags, not entertaining. Also in the script many one liners which failed in the way to be delivered.
Cinematography by Sateesh Kurup has nothing new to offer. Decent frames, colourful all over, overall it was good.
Music by Gopi Sundar was pretty good, songs are pretty nice, but BGM didn't blend perfectly.

About the Cast:
Dulquar Salman as a lazy teenager was ok, but didnt had any emotions to for all love and emotional scenes.
Nazriya Nazim kept her good looks but was emotionless most of the times.
Geetha as a mom had nothing much to do, but did her part.
Jacob Gregory with some one liners, failed to laugh audience. He could have done much better.
Santhanam was something different to see with his humour in tamil movies, definitely did not worked much here, but a decent acting.
Totally the star cast was ok. But failed to impress with the kind of story movie has.

Should You Watch:
Salala mobiles was viewed mostly as a pairing of two good looking stars, but failed to impress in almost every part. Story is different, which has not been taken till now, but for an entertainment, don't know if this story was the best he got. Some good songs, good visuals are the best things in the movie.
Remebering Mamooka's "avante oru Mofillllu...."
and as usual the final decision is yours...!!!

My Rating: 2.5/5
