Behind the Scenes:
Ajith Pillai with his debut has done a good job with a neat and real life characters. The movie is a visual treat and new to malayalam cinema.
Cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam is spectacular treat for all viewers. Every shot is brilliant and so much colourful, Hats off to him.
Editing by Ratheesh Raj is perfect for the movie.
Music by Prasanth Pillai is another plus point of the movie. Pretty good BG's and some good songs, are worth it.

About the Cast:
Asif Ali as Alex has done pretty well, did some realistic acting.
Sunny Wayne as Akbar Ali is pretty good and with his charm he definitely steals the show.
Janani Iyer as Deena has done justice to her character and did part perfect.
Swathy Reddy looking too cute in the movie was just perfect for the role.
Jojo as Mathew P Mathew is fun to watch.
The number of characters in the movies is high regarding the dialogues for each but everyone was within the needs, Kudos to all.

Should You Watch:
An extravagance movie, visual treat in every bit the movie is worth a watch. Neat script and very few and point to point dialogues, the movie was made brilliantly. A simple movie with no fire crackers to Laugh out or scream in the theatre, its both a family watch and movie lovers watch. Some good Messages being conveyed its overall a satisfactory movie.
As always final decision is yours :D

Movie Review: 1 By Two

1 By Two:

1 By Two is a psychic thriller directed by Arun Kumar Aravind.

About the Movie:
The story story revolves round the death of Hari (Murali Gopi) in an accident who is a doctor, who has a twin brother Ravi (Murali Gopi) who tries and fail to suicide and acclaims that he is Hari. Everyone believe Hari is dead expect for Dr.Prema (Honey Rose) his girlfriend who is so sure that its Ravi that is dead, and Hari is still alive. Confusion revolve around. While the pre investigation of accident, the newly deputed CI Yusuf Marikar (Fahad Fazil) takes a look in the accident zone. But when reports comes out, it is written Ravi is the demised person. Yusuf saw this and asks for FIR, and finds out that the whole case is cooked up story by department by the influence of their family. He now starts an investigation by himself, and makes this too much personal. The story slowly takes into the reasons for Yusuf being too attached about this case and the real thing happened in accident.

Behind the Scenes:
Arun Kumar Aravind with his 4th venture again gives us a different movie with different treatment. But this time made it more confusing.
JeyaMohan with the script gave a thriller with lot of suspense in it, but made more confusion in it.
Cinematography by Jomon Thomas was excellent.
Editing by Arun Kumar Aravind was not the best he did, could have made it lot simple.
Music by Gopi Sundar was ok, the one song was pretty good to hear.

About the Cast:
Murali Gopi was at his best and dominated the whole movie as twins. Like his father he has his own style in acting, which outplayed all.
Fahad Fazil as yusuf Marikar did justice to his character, but he looked more confused throughout. His acting skills were not challenged by any means.
Honey Rose as Dr.Prema also looked confused throughout, but she just did what her character asked. Special mention for her confidence to take up this role.
Shyamprasad as Dr.Cheriyan debuted as an actor and did his part excellent, the second best actor in the movie.
Abhinaya as Raziya had nothing much to do, we will doubt what was her need in this, but she always amaze me with her acting within her limitations. she is excellent.
Lot of Casting in the movie, many has nothing to do, which is one failure with casting.

Should You Watch:
With lot of sensual scenes, and confusing story the movie is not appealing though the story was suspense filled. The whole treatment looks failed to attract people and we may need to learn little of psychiatry to understand the whole situation. Movie is about 2 and Half hours which makes it more lagging, it may take your nerves to extent. On the other side, a new style with hats off performance form Murali Gopi which is a treat to watch, and bold Honey Rose and some various mental thoughts of different roles, the movie is different of its kind.
As always final decision is yours :D

Movie Review: PolyTechinic (Pauly Technic)

PolyTechnic (Pauly Technic)

Polytechnic is a Comedy-Family entertainer directed by M.Padmakumar.

About the Movie:
Pauly (Kunjako Boban), Backer (Aju Varghese) are active communist activists who take part in all activities around thier area. One of his agenda is to create trouble for opposing party leader Sukumaran Nair who is the current panchayat president. Since childhood Sukumaran Nair (Vijayaraghavan) gets into trouble because of Pauly. To make things worse Pauly is in love with the daughter of Sukumaran Nair, Ashwathy (Bhavana) since childhood and she too have an affection for him. Pauly comes from a sound family with a loving mother who always tell him to get a job and father an army officer. His life takes a turn when his father dies in a terrorist attack and he has to look after his family. Now with the compensation money of 30 lakhs giving to the family he and his accompanies starts a business which will make money and help people at the same time. From there he gets into lot of trouble because of the govt laws in starting a firm. Story gets interesting from there on.

Behind the Scenes:
M.Padmakumar treated a serious story with help of comedy, has done it without much flaws.
The script by Nishad Koya is simple and fun filled but offered nothing new.
Cinematography by Pramod K Pillai has shot the beautiful village at its best.
Editing by Ranjan Abraham is flawless.
Music by Gopi Sundar was ok with the movie. Songs were not that impressive.

About the Cast:
Kunjako Boban as Pauly has again given a decent performance. The role suited him, but somewhere the macho look tries didn't suit him.
Aju Varghese as Backer, the sidekick delivered many one liners, but this time with no filthy ones, thanks to script writer.
Hareesh Peradi as party secretary did good and amuses us as always.
Vijayaraghavan as Sukumar Nair was spot on with the character.
Bhavana as Ashwathy had nothing to do much but did her role well.

Should You Watch:
M.Padmakumar this time tried to narrate the story with a comedy approach seems to be worked. A simple movie with a script that had nothing new expect for the new one liner jokes keeps it interesting. I felt the movie like a new style Midhunam because it has so much of similarities. Even though the movie gives a good message in the end with some surprise climax, the movie lacked entertainment and goes in a half dull mood. A good family watch with less entertainment.
As always final decision is yours :D

Movie Review: Ring Master

Ring Master:

Ring Master directed by Raffi is a comedy genre movie.

About the Movie:
Prince (dileep) is a dog trainer who dreams going to abroad. His friend, a vet Dr.Muthu (Kalabhavan Shajon) comes with an idea to look after some dogs in a NRI family house, where the owners (Sai Kumar, Ranjini) are going abroad. He lives there as house keeper cum dog trainer meets up with many funny incidents and one of it leads to a blind neighbour girl Karthika (Keerthi Suresh), her parents have died and she needs help of her trained pet for anything and everything. One day her dog gets abducted and she gets totally lost. On the time being Prince and Karthika became friends and he offers her a helping hand. Prince has a childhood sweetheart Diana (Honey Rose) who is now a leading actress in the industry. Now by some events his dog Diana (named after his childhood sweetheart) gets a chance to act in a film. From there his luck changes. The movie goes on with lots of fun and entertainment till the end.

Behind the Scenes:
Raffi from the Rafi-Mecartin duo comes back with a fun filled script which has all masalas for a perfect entertainer.
Cinematography by Shaji captured many colourful scenes and has life till the end.
Editing by Shyam is apt for a entertainer, its a colourful journey.
Music by Gopi Sundar is good and two songs in the movie definitely attracts all sort of people especially children.

About the Cast:
Dileep  is a versatile actor. He know what is his capability and he takes full advantage of himself. He just creates laughing riot throughout as Prince.
Honey Rose as Diana did her best performance so far, was excellent in her role.
Keerthi Suresh as Karthika who once acted with dileep in Kuberan as child artist did brilliant as blind and her cuteness does the trick.
Kalabhavan Shajon as Dr.Muthu is a sidekick who continue to make us laugh.
Suraj Venjaramudu as Sharavan also delivers many oneliners, had nothing new to offer.
Aju Varghese as Peter didn't had much to do. but played his role well.
There are many casts in the movie which had nothing much to do, but none did it bad.

Should You Watch:
This Holiday season if you want to Laugh and get stress free with your friends and family, definitely Ring Master is the right choice. No much of logic, got all masala's to get entertained, and kids will definitely love the movie which has too much cuteness overload of Dog's. To people who are serious about the story side and logic side, you may want to think twice before going. Anyway Raffi has shown that even now humour has not ended, if done in the right way. Kudos to whole crew. A perfect holiday entertainer.
As always, final decision is yours :D

Movie Review: 7th Day

7th Day:

7th Day is a Suspense thriller genre by debutant Syam Dhar.

About the Movie:
David Abraham IPS (Prithviraj), a suspended officer from Crime Branch is unlocking an unregistered case he comes across in a christmas eve, and gets resolved in the 7th day ie New year's eve. On a small accident with a bike, David comes across two friends Shan (Vinay Forrt) and Vinu (Anu Mohan) whom seemed to be pretty tensed about something. Vinu gets injured and David takes them to hospital and from there Vinu disappears, and never finds him searching the whole area. David gets some doubts about them and next day comes in search of this only to find Vinu suicides on the same night and Shan gets attacked by some strangers. David find out from Shan and his four friends Cycle (Praveen Prem). Eby (Tovino Thomas), Jessy (Jannani Iyer) are in deep trouble with some money issues and promises to help them and starts investigating about the case unofficially. The case gets interesting as there is no clues or findings in front of David. From there movie reveals the story step by step and the mysteries behind the Gang.

Behind the Scenes:
Shyam Dhar with his directional debut has made it perfect.
Story by Akhil Paul is excellent and a great suspense thriller.
Cinematography by Sujith Vassudev was apt for the thriller genre and has many visual treats.
Editing by John Kutty gave a dark mood, although was good.
Music by Deepak Dev was excellent although there was one song it is a good blend to movie.

About the Cast:
Prithviraj as David Abraham, was just outstanding with his Salt n Pepper looks. The role didn't use much of his acting skills, but it was his stardom which was perfectly picturised with his brilliant narration skill.
Vinay Forrt as Shan was brilliant among the 5 friends, did brilliant.
Anu Mohan as Vinu is sure a new talent to industry.
Praveen Prem as Cycle surprises us with his different role playing that differ from his looks was good.
Tovino Thomas as Eby had a rough look was good to watch.
Jannani Iyer as Jessy did play her role good.
All other casting were good and played their part well. No performance were bad.

Should You Watch:
The movie without an Official trailer, with Prithviraj quoting "On many different counts, I don't think there has been another movie in my career with which i have been involved with so many different levels like this one.." gave a interesting preview and I was eager to watch this on the first day was indeed a good decision. On of the best thrillers this year till date, with Prithviraj at his best and a suspense story line till the very end without much lag element used except for a small scene towards end, the whole crew did well in the making of 7th Day. Its definitely a watchable one for all movie lovers.
As always the final decision is yours :D

Behind the scenes:
Jude Antony did exceptionally well in keeping the story simple and realistic.
Cinematography by Vinod Illamapally did many new experiments and is a visual treat with some awesome techniques never tried in malayalam movies.

Music is done by Shaan Rahman. From his entry to industry he has gifted beautiful songs one after the other and he continue to do so. Some lovely tracks worth listening.

Nazriya Nazim as Pooja Mathew, the centre role did her best performance till date. All her love for Giri, tension, thoughts, emotions were spot on.
Nivin Pauly as Giri was perfect for the role. A mature macho delivering splendid performance.
Ranji Panicker as Dr.Mathew was not the best for the role. But the love of people towards him as  a director will keep his faults aside.
Aju Varghese as David was brilliant. For the first time he was not a sidekick for the hero but against it, did justice to his role.
Vinay Prasad as Rachel, did justice to her character.
Vinneth Sreenivasan as Dr.Prasad was brilliant and "the cunning boy" was spot on.
Lal Jose as Jacob Tharakan was another role which has brought out the good actor inside an awesome director.
All the other casts did well and no one made a dull performance.

Should You Watch:
A love story from a girls perspective, has been shown the best way. Now filthy dialogues, no double meaning lines, another movie that could be easily seen with family(Love stories now a days are hard to watch with). Colourful movie, awesome songs, brilliant acting, there are lot of things worth watching. Some lags here and there but never made ME boring to watch. Kudos to whole crew.
Cant get out the song "Kaatu Moolio Pranayam..." out of my head. I've been rhyming since i left outside theatre, and so was my friends. As always final decision is yours...!!! :D

Nivin Pauly as Rameshan was perfect for the role. His looks didn't make it easy to act as aged person, but character was perfect throughout.

Movie Review: Salala Mobiles

Salala Mobiles:

Salala Mobiles is a comedy thriller genre by Sharath A Haridasan.

About the movie:
The movie narrates story of a lazy teenager Afsal(Dulquar) who is not interested in going for a job. His mother Safiyumma(Geetha) is much worried about this and seeks her brother to help him out, who works in salala. With his help Afsal starts a mobile shop with name "Salala Mobiles" which was the only favour asked by his uncle. He has a friend to accompany him with his new business, his childhood friend Binoy(Jacob Gregory). Now working in the shop, one day he meet a pretty girl Shahana who gets into bus from nearby bus stop. He straight away falls in love with her, but never has the courage to show his love. Meantime he goes to coimbatore to meet his friend Hari(Sreekumar) who offered him to give accessories at much cheaper rate, who later takes Afsal to his friend an inventor of mobile apps, Alagar Saamy(Santhanam). Alagar shows him some applications, which are not too viable. But yet he gets an app which Alagar presents him for free, which changed his life from there.

Behind the Movie:
Sharath A Haridasan has some directional skills. but the movie has some serious lags, not entertaining. Also in the script many one liners which failed in the way to be delivered.
Cinematography by Sateesh Kurup has nothing new to offer. Decent frames, colourful all over, overall it was good.
Music by Gopi Sundar was pretty good, songs are pretty nice, but BGM didn't blend perfectly.

About the Cast:
Dulquar Salman as a lazy teenager was ok, but didnt had any emotions to for all love and emotional scenes.
Nazriya Nazim kept her good looks but was emotionless most of the times.
Geetha as a mom had nothing much to do, but did her part.
Jacob Gregory with some one liners, failed to laugh audience. He could have done much better.
Santhanam was something different to see with his humour in tamil movies, definitely did not worked much here, but a decent acting.
Totally the star cast was ok. But failed to impress with the kind of story movie has.

Should You Watch:
Salala mobiles was viewed mostly as a pairing of two good looking stars, but failed to impress in almost every part. Story is different, which has not been taken till now, but for an entertainment, don't know if this story was the best he got. Some good songs, good visuals are the best things in the movie.
Remebering Mamooka's "avante oru Mofillllu...."
and as usual the final decision is yours...!!!

Movie Review: 5 Sundarikal

5 Sundarikal:

The movie is Malayalam romantic anthology film narrating the story of 5 different beautiful  women - mother, daughter, lover, wife and actress (wiki). Directional venture of 5 directors  Anwar Rasheed, Aashiq Abu, Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid and Amal Neerad.

About the movie:

5 sundarikal, the story of 5 different women, almost half an hour each tied together.

"Seethulakshmi"
The first directional venture of Cinematographer Shyju Khalid is adaption of M.Mukundan's story. Deals with the story of two children a boy and girl who wants to take a picture of both.
Starring Anika, Chethan, Guru Somasundaram doing fantastic jobs made it brilliant and one of the best in all.
My Rating: 5/5

"Esha"
The second one by Sameer thahir is a fun filled love story between two strangers who meet in unusual circumstances.
Starring Isha Sharvani, Nivin Pauly did a brilliant job.
My Rating: 4.25/5

"Gauri"
Aashiq Abu's movie tells the story of a husband and wife leaving away from their parents due to lack of support because of their love marriage.
Starring Kavya Madhavan, Biju Menon, Tini Tom, Rimi Tomy, Shine Tom Chacko is a differently narrated movie with a real different climax.
My Rating: 4/5

"Kullante Bharya"
Directed by Amal Neerad is adapted from Chinese short story narrates a dwarf husband and a normal women's story. The story shows the reflection of society's mentality which are too narrow minded.
Starring Reenu Mathews, Dulquer Salman, Muthumani, Jinu Ben was heart touching with some brilliant camera works too.
My Rating: 4.75/5

"Aami"
Directed by Anwar Rasheed tells the power of a good and strong husband wife relation and some things happening in one night.
Starring Asmitha Sood,Fahadh Faasil, Honey Rose, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan was the most stylish movie and with Amal Neerad's Cinematography is the most colourful one of all.
My Rating: 4.5/5

The casting of all movies were brilliant and spot on with their roles, Kudos to all.
Music by Gopi Sundar, Bijibal, Prashant Pillai, Yakzan Gary Pereira were brilliant and made the movie worth watch throughout with beautiful BG scores and some Beautiful songs to add on.
Cinematography Amal Neerad, Shyju Khalid, Rajeev Ravi, Ranadive, Alby were brilliant and apt for the situations of each one.
Editing by Vivek Harshan was truthful as needed.

Should You Watch:
Rather than an entertainer the movie was a brave and big attempt regardless of Box office Stuffs lead by 5 friends and their crew. Beautiful 5 short movies tied together to be one good movie. Not a big entertainer but surely a pretty one to watch. Some moments will touch our heart and some questions about the mentality of society and some conveyed messages, I personally loved it and Kudos to Amal Neerad Production (ANP) for such a brave production.
And as usual the final decision is yours.

My All-over Rating: 4.5/5

Movie Review: ABCD - American Born Confused Desi

ABCD:

ABCD- American Born Confused Desi is the second venture of Martin Prakkat, with Dulquer Salmaan leading the cast was an awaited movie this year.

About the movie:Two young Chaps Johns (Dulquer) and Korah (Jacob Gregory) leading their life with their parents money partying and tripping without any control. Both are very good trouble makers too and very often they end up in jail. Usually they get out when Isaac John (Laloo Aalex) father of Johns comes and get bailed out. But once they cross their limit and get into serious trouble that they cannot stay in U.S any more. They have to leave their home town now and Issace comes with the idea of making them go to India. With no other option they come to Kochi just for spending their vacation time but coming to kerala they find it was actually a set-up by Issac for making them learn the value of money they spend recklessly and teach them to lead a better life. The story develops to different view based on the politics and media ruling kerala, where it further tells the changes in the life of these two American Born Confused Desis.

Martin Prakkat as director did an ok job, but still the directional part Confused me whether it was in full control, because of his directional debut which was much better than this.
Sooraj-Neeraj team with the script makes a hype of having something, but really didn't end as expected.
Screenplay by Martin and Sooraj-Neera, did ok but had never kept the expectation.
Jomon T John as Cinematographer did his part well, and kept the job perfect given to him.
Editing by Donmax was also best the movie could have.
Music by Gopi Sundar was the best attraction of the film as it was spot on with best timings and some good songs to add on.

About the Cast:
Dulquer Salmaan into his 4th movie definitely played his part well and is improving his skills in every movie, surely a trendy actor with high language skills which was apt for the movie.
Jacob Gregory form "akkarakazchakal" makes a really American Born Confused desi in the movie.
Aparna Gopinath as Madhumitha did well with her performance.
Tovino Thomas as Akhilesh Varma was good and definitely a new one is added to the new generation actors.
Lalu Alex as Issac did his part good as usual.
Vijayaraghavan as Ravi Varma played his part well too.
Sreekumar as Anglo-Indian was fun to watch on screen.
Savannah Schechter as Dulquar's girlfriend in guest appearance didn't had much, but was still ok.
Nawas Kalabhavan, Thampi Antony and many others had small roles and kept it moving.
Totally the main star cast was big, but the utilization of this star cast was not in the perfect way.

Should You Watch:
A
movie is saw with lots of expectation never impressed me personally, but a non boring movie from start to end and with some good one liners kept it moving. Language in the movie could have been more censored but looks like its the current trend. A movie with nothing as social relevance but gives us some questions needed to be answered. A total time pass movie with good Camera works and best BG score keeps us moving and a real unexpected and unused climax which may or may not impress you, its upto you. All over i saw a lot of confused desis leaving the theatre.
And as always the final decision is yours.

My Rating: 3.5/5

Movie Review: Thank You

Thank you:

V.K.Prakash with his 3rd movie "thank you is a suspense thriller genre one based on social issues against women harassment.

About the movie:
The story is about a person who comes in trivandrum with some specific purposes. He travels from place to place and creates problem by threatening about police that he has planned for a series of blasts around the city. The police is searching for this "mysterious man" and media are utilizing this for their profit on the other hand. The movie slowly reveals the reasons behind the mysteries of this mysterious man. The film is goes in a trilling way towards the climax.
V.K.P has always experimented with different genre, style and everything, some of them was not the best but this was very different and a social relevant subject surely did great.
Arun lal's story was very much relevant with the current social systems have left us with many questions to answer.
Cinematographer Aravind Krishna has shown the beauty within in trivandrum city and with sorts of experiments in camera works has done well.
Babu Rathnam Uthara with editing kept it perfect.
Music by Bijilal was impressive and the songs are pretty good to hear.

About the Cast:
Jayasurya has been impressive all through the year with some brilliant performances and he has continued the saga.
Sethu as commissioner was impressive with his fast language skills and tactical officer he was spot on.
Kailash as SI didnt had much of a part but kept it realistic.
Honey Rose as Jayan's wife played her part well.
Tini Tom, Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Sudheer Karamana, Mridul, Aishwayra Devan and many others played their part well.
The movie was very much hero centered and did not had much space for other actors to do much, everyone kept their part of role well and casting was spot on.

Should you Watch:
Another experiment from V.K.P with a strong, bold and social relevant story from Arun lal the movie ends asking a lot of questions to the community and the views of each person right now about the social issues like harassment towards women and many other things. The film lack entertainment and is dry throughout. But surely will make us guessing throughout the movie and never gets off the pace. Movie surely is must watch to all because we need to think about the questions movie raises in the end. Watch it for a good script, nothing else. and don't see it if you are in a mood for comedy and masala entertainments. I loved this movie for it was true and bold. And as usual the final decision is yours.

Movie Review: Left Right Left

Left Right Left:

Arun Kumar Aravind, Murali Gopi team is back with Left Right Right- Revolution is homemade is a social drama and best of its kind.

About the movie:
The movie deals with story of few people such as SI K.P.Jayan (Indrajith), Roy Joseph (Murali Gopi) a leftist, Anitha(Lena) his wife, Jennifer (Remya Nambeeshan) a nurse and many others who face lot of problems in their life and somehow deals with it by their own way. Roy joseph so called "cheguvera Roy" by his friends is a true heart leftist. He is unhappy about the way of communism in the party but self consoled because of his incapability and limits but always try his best to make it corruption free the way he can. Anitha his wife working guest lecturer for journalism is the best support for him. She has lot of responsibilities to do and is always worried about her husband. Sub Inspector Jayan is a very rude police officer who is corrupted and a very angry man but is very sentimental when it comes to his family. He lives with his mother upstairs of Roy's home. He has a reason to live there. That is Anitha, Roy's wife looks like his elder sister, who died when he was small because the family could not pay for her treatment at the right time. This incident also ruined his childhood as he comes to a conclusion that, to live properly either you should be a police officer or you should have plenty of money. Also he loves a nurse named Jennifer who also resembles someone he cannot forget from his childhood memories.Jennifer is married and has a child and is trying to get out of marriage because her husband's abuse towards her and child. She needs a man's help and she acts as if she loves him for her own interests. One day two devotees of party (played by Sudheer Karamana and Sreejith Ravi) who are also angry with going on corruption and wants change in the party who also started a new Newspaper named "The Communist" finds a big corruption done by the leader Sahadevan. He is very much powerful leaderwho never allows someone to stand in his way or the party. Roy knows it would be suicidal to go against him and seeks the help of SR the other leader of Left party who Roy has a bit faith left. He assure to help him by raising the issue by his way. After the news been printed in the paper the things turn dramatically and from there we could see the black side of Red flagged party and how they deals with their own members if they raise their voice against them.

 I
n the recent past there has been many movies about the politics but i would say Arun Kumar Aravindh has kept it a step ahead of all.
Murali Gopi with a breath taking script has amazed me and truly he will raise his fathers name for sure. Lets hope the story of the movie doesn't make controversies when our Left leaders see it.
Cinematography buy Shehnad Jalaal has been spot on for the way the story should be narrated.
Editing by Arun Kumar was brilliant and spot on.
Music by Gopi Sundar was perfect to tell and the songs were very dramatic and meaningful and truly kept a communist thinking.

About the Cast:
Indrajith as S.I. Jayan has done his part brilliant as usual and he keeps on amazing me doing different roles in brilliant manner.
Murali Gopi as Roy Joseph again was brilliant and the way he presents his role really reminds us of his legendary father.
Lena as Anitha made her role beautiful and realistic and she proves how versatile she is.
Remya Nambeesan as Jennifer kept her role brilliant and has a negative touch but still will love her.
Sethulakshmi as Jayan's mother with her dialectic ways will make us laugh hard.
Vijayaraghavan as SR kept it spot on to the role.
Hareesh Peradi as Sahadevan was more of a surprise with his portrayal. He sure is actor needed to be more exposed.
Sudheer Karamana and Sreejith Ravi also made their role out standing.
Jagadish, Suraj, Mamookoya, Baiju, Saiju Kurup, Anusree and many others with small and decent roles played their part well and will have to give credit to the casting of the movie because it is spot on.

Should You Watch:
Watching the movie i could not say of the script of the movie is communist or anti communist, whatever the movie sure can be related to real life and current affairs in kerala politics for sure. The movie may not be fun filled but a true communist movie showing the real cruelty behind the smiling faces of our political leaders and surely questions the system of left atheists and their way of governance. The movie is a must watch for left believers. Sure a film watchable with family and needed to be watched by young bloods who give their life for politicians and leaders. A true and Bold Movie and relevant one. The only drawback i think is the drag in the second half which has few entertainment scenes. Kudos to all the crew behind the movie and the words "Revolution is Homemade" is stiffened and shown in the best way.

The total star cast of the movie was spectacular and was always spot on with their own characters. Kudos to the team.

Should you watch:
Honey bee- its tripping is fun filled thriller with childish way of narration which will keep us entertained all through the movie. With some Filthy dialogues and lot of beep sounds think twice going for it with your family. But for youth its a tripping fun filled movie. Also with the chemistry of Asif and Bhavana which seemed to be worked out well we could see a good love story and the final Smooch is very much welcomed ;) Scene aanu buddy!!!!
and as always the final decision is yours...!!!

Also many other characters like the trio thief friends, mathew's friend. Vatti raja's Bodyguards, Rayban's Bodyguards, Auto Driver... Many of them had small roles bu played the best way.
Totally in the star cast which was lead by Nivin was won by the villan and other characters more than Nivin and Nazriya.

Should you Watch:
"Neram" is not an untold story, it does not have a spectacular story, ends like a fairy tale and less realistic but the 1 hour 50 minutes movie guarantee us many funny moments to laugh and gives us an adrenaline run and would not be a waste of money or Your "NERAM". Even if doesnot like this you could atleast say "Neram randu thrathil undu. nalla neravum chitha neravum. chitha nerathinu sheham urapayittum oru nalla neram varum.."
Kudos to the team behind it and i surely will watch it again but always the final decision is yours...!!! :D

About the movie:
"Hotel California" deals with lives of many which is ready to be turned in two days. The story shows the scandals that happen around us and life of different people knowingly or unknowingly becoming a part of it. Airport Gimmy is a main pimp and a conman will do all wrongs for making money is the lead in movie. Four people coming in same flight from mumbai to cochin has different but all scandal things to do in kochi. Awaiting them in kochi are a bunch of people from terrorists to conman Gimmy and from the moment they land in kochi things get to new turns as a confusion begins when people receiving each picks wrong ones. The movie all through goes in funny manner, most serious dialogues ending up in comedy. And different stories of different people gets linked in together and get it into series of Unfortunate but funny events. The story openly shows how scandals happen and filthy mind of people and everyone in run for making money and also in the end shows humanity still exists.

The direction part of Aji john was surely not worth it and needed to improve.
Jithu Damodar as Cinematographer made each frame stylish and colourful but unwanted slow motions each time we see Jimmy (jayasurya) made it boring though.
Editing by Xian was ok but could have done much better with more dragging of simple shots.
Music by Shaan Rahman did not keep up with the movie and always made some weird tunes not best for the shots and didnt give what was expected from him.
Script by Anoop menon was good but i think it went through wrong hands.

About the Cast:
Jayasurya as Airport Jimmy has done excellent job and the major stylish role in his entire carrier till now.
Shanker played the role of Aby Mathew a flirty business man surprise us with his way of dialogues and acting.
Anoop Menon as Superstar Premsagar did his role perfect as usual.
Krishna as Roshan bodyguard of Bollywood superstar did his part well.
Saiju Kurup did dual as Tarun Singh son of politician convicted in 2G scam and also Rafeeq Ahammed a poor NRI was did the best of all.
Dwani as Swapna a model/actress did her part well.
Jojo as Barthchandran IPS had the best dialogues in the movie and could be a break in his carrier.
Nandu and "Comedy Festival" group surely makes the movie fun filled by their kidnapping story.
Mariya Roy had a simple part and kept it going.
Aparna Nair too did hert part ok.
Manikuttan as police officer did his job well.
And many other characters did their part good. but made it felt like there were too much of them than needed.

Should You Watch:
The Movie has got many filthy dialogues and story of scandal and unwanted exposure of women surely made the film 'A' certified and could think twice before going for this with family. Otherwise a fun film need not take anything seriously while seeing the movie. For all Jayasurya Fans this is a must watch movie. Entertainment, good camera works fun filled story will make us entertained. But for story lovers and good creation lovers this is not the movie to watch. A good time pass if you got lot of free time !!!
And as always its your final decision to watch it or not.

Shortly Aryan John gets shot dead during an award function during giving speech after receiving award for his excellence, the story takes us into a different level. Antony solves the case but on the way after solving and before telling to anyone he gets in to an accident and losses his memory. The story develops from there as Antony tries find about himself and his past and by that way solve his best friend's murderer once again.

Rosshan Andrrews has always traveled in different path of movie making and he has taken this movie to another level.
The story by Bobby-Sanjay has been pretty new to Malayalam movies and of course is thrilling from the beginning.
Cinematography by G.Diwakar has been brilliant and was apt for the thrilling story from start to end.
Music by Gopi sundar was good and fresh enough for the style of the movie.
The movie had no songs and a different and unsaid climax may or may not satisfy the audience based on their acceptance.

About the cast:
Prithviraj is in the lead character as Antony Moses was absolutely brilliant and was spot on with his character as a rough police commissioner and was really good with the dialogue deliveries, did a stubborn character.
Rehman as Faran did his job pretty brilliant as a calm and intelligent officer and looked younger than all.
Jayasurya as Aryan did a simple character and surely did not forget to make us smile with his simple and elegant dialogues.
Aparna Nair as Rakhee Menon played her part well.
Hima Davis as Rebecca,Riyas Khan as professional shooter, Kunjan as Sudhakaran, Mariya Roy, Shweta Menon, Harish, Mukundan and many others did their part pretty well.

Should You Watch:
Rosshan Andrrews has always offered something different with his movies and yet another different movie and except for some drag in second half the movie promises to be a good watchable one both for youngsters and family. Watch out for some pretty good stunt scenes which is done to perfection. After a bit while a good thriller genre movie has been done as it is needed to be. There is no comic parts or over filmy masala in this and as always its your final decision to watch it or not...!!!

Movie Review:Emmanuel-Deivam namoodu koode

Emmanuel - Deivam namoodu koode:
The last two movies of lal jose were "Diamond Necklace" and "Aayalum Njanum Thammil" which were huge hits and kept really different from each other. So this time we wouldn't expect anything less than an awesome movie from Lal who has been the main hit makers in Malayalam movie industry.

About the movie:
"Emmanuel-Deivam namoodu koode" deals with the story of a simple and humble man emmanuel, his family and people around him. Emmanuel with wife and son lives simple but happy life in rented home. Emmanuel got a job in a book publishing press which can close anytime due to lack of publicity and the owner is tricky enough not to pay salary to employees, especially his favorite person emmanuel because he is very pure in heart and sees his owner as godfather. It was hard for him and his family but still they were happy with what they have. Unfortunately one day the owner josephettan goes dark and so the publishing press closes down and emmanuel has to find a new job with a reference. Now he gets job in MNC which is an insurance company. Here he comes across his boss Jeevan(Fahad Fazil) who is so strict and very cunning and gives his job first priority to anything other including his family. Emmanuel sure has a new job with a fixed salary and now has to finish his target every month and he finds hard to cope up with the new generation lads who have really different mindsets. From there it was hard and very challenging job for a pure heart person emmanuel and with his whole life dream of owning a house and lot of other things the story develops.
The movie is humored sentimental drama and have lots of lovely moments which makes us realise the world around us and ourselves.
First half of the movie got lot of humorous situation and surely the scenes with fahad and mamooka was fun to watch most of the time. Second half gets into the story pretty much and get dramatic and sentimental but surely never got me boring.

Cinematography by Pradeep Nair was simple and adequate for the movie.
Editing by Ranjan Abraham again was pretty good and never let it boring at anytime.
Art-direction by Mohandas was good. some simple sets but beautifully presented.
Music by Afzal Yusuf was again simple and just flowed through the movie.
And again another simple and humble climax makes us feel very happy and surely makes our heart little light.

About the cast:
Mamooty is emmanuel in the movie. Mammoka has been brilliant throughout the movie and has shown again the simplicity of a person at its best. Hats off to him.
Fahad as jeevan was absolute brilliant and you got to watch his facial expression change. It changes too quickly that we will never understand what kind of person he actually is.
Rinu mathew the new actress introduced by lal jose played emmanuel's wife and kept it brilliant and never made felt like it was her debut and was perfect for the character and promises a new talent to malayalam.
Master Gauri shankar will take your heart away as emmanuel's son by his angel looks and cute talking. He was the main attraction in the movie.
Sukumari amma plays an important role in the movie and seeing her on screen we will surely know what we are going to miss in future.
Nedumudi veenu, Mukesh, salim kumar, muktha, Guinness pakru and many others played different, simple roles and kept it pretty good.

Should you watch:
No huge fights, no big romance, not colorful, but still a very simple beautiful happiness filled movie and if you are a person with good heart and got much emotions you surely don't want to miss this movie because you will love emmanuel and his family and the whole movie which gives pretty good encouraging message to all of us.
And as always the final decision is yours :)
